  • Swimming pool license is valid for the year 1st of January to 31st December.
  • The license for Swimming Pool is granted and regulated under the provisions of the “The Union Territory of Delhi Swimming Pools (Licensing and Controlling) Regulation, 1980”.
  • The online application for obtaining swimming pool license should be made on the website of Delhi Police Licensing Unit i.e. delhipolicelicensing.gov.in.
  • NOCs/reports of following agencies are required:- • Local Police • Traffic Police • SAI Swimming Coach report • Electrical Dept. GNCT Delhi • Fire Safety Certificate from Delhi Fire Service (in case of indoor pool) • Health Trade License from MCD Health Department or NOC from NDMC • Character Verification report of the applicant
  • Following documents are required for renewal of Swimming Pool License:- • MCD (Health Trade License) or NOC from NDMC • Prescribed Affidavit for swimming pool • Inspection report of SAI Swimming Coach, • Latest Water Test Report
  • Swimming Pool shall not remain open after 12 O’ clock mid-night or open before 5 O’ clock in the morning, except with the special permission in writing from the Commissioner of Police.
  • Number of persons allowed at one time slot in the Swimming Pool are decided by the swimming Coach of Sports Authority of India.
  • The following documents are required to obtain Swimming Pool License:- • Proof of Ownership/Lease deed/Rent agreement • NOC from owner/Director • Key site plan approved by competent authority • Authorization letter/Board Resolution in favour of applicant • An affidavit on a non judicial stamp paper worth Rs. 10/- duly attested by a Notary Public • Photographs of Swimming Pool from different angles. • Proof of Identity of applicant (Aadhaar/voter Id/Driving License/Passport/PAN Card etc.) • Address proof of applicant (Aadhaar/voter Id/Passport/Electricity Bill/Landline Telephone Bill/Rent/Lease deed or Property Ownership Documents etc.) • GST Registration Certificate(In case swimming pool is used for commercial purpose)
  • The fee for grant and renewal of license is Rs. 30/-. (The fee is paid only by debit/credit card at the fee counter in Licensing Unit.)
